No partner needed Most people come without a partner so there will be friendly people for you to dance with. Please do sign up and state your gender. We will balance the class to have the same number of leaders and followers.
Class material We will cover walking, leading, following, embrace, cross, ochos, turns, musicality and social dance customs.
Please note: the prerequisite for each class is the previous class. If you miss a class, you will not be able to take the next class, unless you dance only with your own partner. The reason is that the Bootcamp is an accelerated course and all participants have a reasonable expectation to practice with people who are up to level.
Teachers Tine has taught tango to hundreds of beginners at the Yale Tango Club since 2004. She developed the Tango Bootcamp to teach tango to busy people who don't have endless time and resources to spend on classes.

What people said about the March Bootcamp in NYC: Just wanted to drop a line and say 'thanks!'  The first day of the crash course was really helpful, and fun! I'm really looking forward to next week.
Thank you for saving those of us with two left feet = )

About the Yale Tango Bootcamps Tine's Tango Bootcamp has introduced more than 1000 Yale students to tango, and continues to do so in communities across the country.  The format and style have been copied and reproduced by teachers across the US -- its the best succinct introduction to tango on the market!  Learn a beautiful dance, meet some new people, and just generally join in the fun. - Henry, Yale Tango Club

Tine was my first ever tango teacher, she hasn’t just shown me how to Tango, she infected me with it very successfully. Tango is all about passion. Through talking with her about tango and learning steps I started to understand the deeper meaning of tango. I started to hear the music and to understand the connection.
The community that she created at Yale changed my life as a dancer, as a woman and probably as professional. I moved back to Poland after school and I started to infect people in my city with that passion as well. We have the baby of the Yale Tango Club, the Lublin Tango Club in Poland. Thanks Tine, I hope that you will continue your great job and visit us soon- Malgosia, Yale Tango Club alum
